This weekend we hit Greazefest Hot Rod and Rockabilly festival, spending our Saturday amongst fields of chrome and rainbow duco, pin up girls, food trucks and live rock’n’roll.
Sandown graced us with intermittent sunshine but mostly bright overcast (the photographer’s dream lighting) and we were away! Hundreds of beautiful cars- each with a story to tell, rockabilly boys and girls, bobby socks, seamed stockings, and swing skirts to the soundtrack of fifties rock’n’roll.
A bit of ”pro-pride” shone through as we noticed that there weren’t any other photographers with polarisers – a vital tool for eliminating reflections and saturating colours. We can’t live without ours! We can’t wait for the next event as the weather gets better, the days grow longer and Summer rolls in…
